It’s been an incredibly long time since I last did any sort of real webdesign and site maintenance. I am floored by how far things have evolved! A part of me is a little sad that I really don’t need to know CSS to keep things running, but another part of me is relieved that I don’t have to go digging for bugs. That was my least favorite thing to do lol.

I’ve spent the past few days messing around with different layouts and I feel like I’m in a better place than when I first started. I had a friend review what I had so far and his input really helped me stay on the right track. Somewhere between minimalism and clutter is a nice sweet spot in design– that’s what I’m aiming for. I’ve figured that the layouts are probably going to have to be customized, which isn’t a bad thing, but because now I know how to do those layouts, I might redo some areas. Or not…I am lazy lol.

Finding the right layout for the homepage was fun. At first I had this very basic (and highly reflective of what I knew about the site building tools) layout which wasn’t great, but it got the message across. I changed it to a slideshow and version one is hilarious– bewbs. All bewbs. 

Sorry, but this isn’t that kind of website. XD
